Hi, I’m Sarah-Jane, a Psychotherapist with a background in psychology, cognitive behavioural therapy, and hypnotherapy. I work with individuals who want to feel more grounded, confident, calm, and connected, whether that’s in their minds, their bodies, or their relationships.

I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology, alongside a Level 5 Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Hypnotherapy.

I don’t believe there’s one “right” approach that fits everyone. That’s why I draw from a wide range of tools and modalities from CBT and clinical hypnotherapy to mind-body techniques, psychoeducation, and coaching-style goal setting.

For some clients, that might mean understanding and challenging unhelpful thought patterns. For others, it might mean working on emotional regulation, exploring subconscious beliefs, or reconnecting with their inner voice.

I am a Children and Young People’s Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and the founder of Bright Path Therapy. I support children, teenagers and young adults aged 5–25 who may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem, OCD, phobias, school-related difficulties, emotional dysregulation or challenges associated with neurodivergence.
My approach is warm, collaborative and individually tailored. I provide neurodivergent-affirming and trauma-informed therapy, adapting traditional CBT to reflect each young person’s age, communication style, strengths, interests and needs. Sessions may incorporate creative activities, play, visual resources and practical strategies alongside evidence-based CBT approaches.
I recognise that beginning therapy can feel unfamiliar or overwhelming. I therefore place particular importance on developing a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, allowing sessions to progress at a pace that feels manageable for the young person. Where appropriate, I also work collaboratively with parents, carers and schools to help young people feel understood and supported across the different areas of their lives.
Through Bright Path Therapy, my aim is to help young people develop a clearer understanding of themselves, build practical coping skills and move towards the goals that matter to them.
